I'm not typically one to complain but the absolutely TERRIBLE service I received from Bird Chevrolet is to a point that others need to know so that they do not take their business there. I have been a loyal customer for almost two years now. I drive quite a bit (30,000+ miles a year) and take my car there typically at least once a month or every other month for routine maintenance. Recently, I have had SEVERAL issues. Specifically, I took my car to them and it was repaired (a $300 repair) incorrectly not once but TWICE! The car was un-drivable and potentially dangerous to drive. When speaking with management, an apology was never given nor was I offered any compensation for the time out of my schedule to have my car fixed PROPERLY, TWICE. To top this off, I believe this company to be sexist. I was not treated with respect due to being a woman and was only given a small amount of respect once I had to bring along my boyfriend. I will NOT be going back and I would NOT recommend anyone else give Bird Chevrolet your business.
I went here to take a look at new Chevys and was shown the 2017 Chevrolet Colorado it was a nice truck but after the presentation I received two days later at Browns in Elkader they absolutely got blown away by Brown's in Elkader. That is the reason why I'm giving them a two star rating just have to seeing Browns do their thing I realized that birds and Dubuque is severely lacking.
The experience was a good one except for two things: 1) I initially did two online chats with chatbots and was told both times that someone would contact me with details. No one contacted me. 2) When I dropped my car off, I asked to receive email updates, but received none (I did receive an apology for that). Other than these, it was good. Everyone was extremely nice. Just don't waste your time chatting with a program on their website.

I have always recommended Bird to my friends and family and will continue to do so. The guys in the service department have always done a great job. I don't have a regular work schedule and they've always been great about getting me in on short or no notice, which is huge for me. I can't say enough good things about Josh and the guys, always friendly and helpful.
And Birds the word !!!
First off , Great vehicles. Top quality staff. . They did everything they could to make our experience a positive one , this doesnt stop at sales .the financing stayed late and ot us the best deal he could .
I felt like Bird had earned my business because of the service department. So, when looking for a new vehicle Bird is the place I wanted to purchase it from. Chris and the whole team made the process quick and easy. I love my new truck and look forward to continuing a great relationship with all the guys at Bird. My only regret is that I didn't buy a new truck sooner. Lol. The fellas were probably getting tired of hearing me talk about it.
