Yeah kind of gruff. Just like a dude with the apron and leather working tools and a lifetime of experience should be. Deeply dedicated to service and his craft. I've purchased excellent footwear here and some RC stuff just because it looked fun and have received excellent service during and after sale every time.

I have used Fagan's for shoe repair for several years and drive over an hour one way to get there. I have always been very happy with their work. Their bedside manner may be a little rough around the edges, but we get along fine. I don't go there looking for hand-holding or pampering; I go there to get my boots repaired! I would recommend their business to anyone who appreciates quality craftsmanship.
Have a sale on hobbies.....oh wait it's ALL consignment so it does not get the discount that they have offerd and they sell stuff they don't know if it works or not for a high price That you might regret on getting. Not a place to go.....
