Atmosphere was perfect....and the SCONES were AMAZING! Coffee was perfect and the service was quick and friendly. Great local cafe! Will have to come back again!

Atmosphere was great, the food was excellent, and they had really good gluten free options for my mom. I was really pleased to find their coffee was excellent as well! After searching For something other than chain coffee in the morning, their iced latte hit the spot in the pm! Definitely a place to experience if you're from out of town!
Excellent coffee and staff. The food is great too. They have the best scones in town and are the fastest place to get any espresso drink downtown. In the summer they offer some exceptional ice cream.
I ordered a Mocha small. I was exploring Dubuque downtown and happened by the place. Coffee was decent. Nothing extraordinary. Staff was polite. I was serviced almost immediately. Cozy little place. Only reason I'm rating it at 3 stars is the noise throughout my 15 minutes spent there. I dont mind the noise from other customers, but there was too much noise from somewhere behind the counter. Loud noises of dishes being dropped. At first I thought it was an accident, but it continued for almost the entire time. It felt as though people were carelessly dropping dishes all around.
It's a good cafe with loads of great coffee options. Not a ton of seating. As expected, there is a limited but quality food menu. I had hoped to get a pastry when I was there, but they didn't have any--I presume they had sold out early in the day.
