I guess there aren't many options for shopping in Dubuque, Iowa and malls aren't so much the thing anymore with all the online shopping. This may have been much nicer in the past but now it's a lot of empty stores.
34.99 and 49.99 for. Our kids to get to see santa and have pictures taken??? Are u. Guys out of ur mind? 34.99 is aperently worth to make a kid smile on christmas.. Not that parents struggle enough on christmas time. No now we had to explain our 2 year old why she only could see santa from far away. Wasted 4 h driving time and 20 bucks in gas because nobody could note that ripp off on the website and facebook page... Last time I was at that mall...
Worst place ever
There was a time in the past that malls were a place for people to congregate, gather, and shop. That time has since passed and while some malls have managed to go beyond that, this mall has seen a continued decline, due in large part to the closure of local favorites. This is on surprising as the malls current ownership is nowhere near local, and is completely out of touch for what people want to see out of this retail space. Recent rate hikes for the tenants have a bed that even some national chains have packed up and left, leaving this shell of former glory in its place. Malls can still work, see Waterloo, Davenport, Cedar Rapids, ect...but this mall is out of date,out of touch, and dying.
I went looking for something unique to Dubuque and came up empty. Maybe it's just that I didn't have the time to spend at some run-down mall.
It's a nice small town mall, miss alot of the older stores though.
They should offer wheelchairs for free to those that can not handle the large amount of walking in the mall. Some of the stores do not have enough room to push a wheelchair around in and that is frustrating
