Horrible. A sexist pig who gave me a much higher estimate than he gave my husband. Refused to come out when we needed him--"was sick and tired of everyone calling him at the last minute." How can you know you need a locksmith in advance?! I've never felt so belittled, or had anyone be so rude to me, especially someone who is in the service industry.
Went in to get some keys made. Fast service. Couldn't tell if the guy was in a bad mood or just having fun. Not sure.
I busted a key and didn't have a spare (I know, I know). Within 10 minutes of arrival he had a new, working key cut (with spare). Would definitely recommend to anyone in the Dubuque area.
I gave price for late night service and a price for tomorrow. Customer wanted tomorrow price now, would not let go. Told her she does not set prices, she would not let go. She implied I must give cheaper price or she would tell everyone how awful I am. I told her to stick it. Husband called back, I felt empathetic and gave him less than the night rate, and I thought maybe she felt bad about blackmailing me and made him call.
I draw the line at corrupt practices and dishonesty.
